Some impress with tech, others with UX—but few deliver practical value without adding clutter. Adsby.co, though still growing, strikes an interesting balance. Here's my review based on hands-on experience.

✅ What I Like About Adsby
1. UI that Prioritizes Clarity and Productivity
Adsby's interface is beautifully designed. It doesn't overwhelm with vanity metrics—instead, it cherry-picks the essentials, helping advertisers focus on KPIs that actually drive performance. This makes it especially valuable for teams or clients prone to "decision bias."

2. A Nice Optimization Feature
Its optimization suggestions feel practical, not just generic AI fluff. Adsby gives a tactical edge without needing to dig deep into Ads Manager.

3. Alerts Feature – Smart and Proactive
The alert system is a genuinely clever idea. Getting proactive nudges about anomalies or opportunities lets marketers react fast without micromanaging every campaign.

4. Competition Monitoring – A Competitive Advantage
Keeping tabs on competitor moves within the platform adds another layer of value. It's one of those features that feels simple but saves hours of manual work when used well.

5. The Software Is Built by Someone Who Understands Google Ads
You can feel it in the way workflows are structured and which features are prioritized. It’s not made by generic devs slapping AI on an ad platform—it’s thoughtfully crafted for Google Ads use cases.

If Adsby aims to level up its AI and recommendations, here’s what could help:

Currently, the AI doesn’t seem to ask for initial account context—things like business model, value proposition, or ideal customer profile. This input could dramatically improve the relevance of optimization suggestions, especially for campaigns with nuanced goals.

For example:

“What does this business sell?”
“What conversion event truly matters?”
“Who is your ideal customer?”

Answers to those could fuel smarter, more strategic optimizations—moving the AI from tactical assistant to strategic advisor.

⚠️ A Note of Caution: Where It Falls Short for Experts
1. AI Chat Agent vs. Google’s Marketing Advisor
I’ve been fortunate to be in the beta group for Google's Marketing Advisor feature within the Google Ads platform. Frankly, it's superior in terms of strategic insight. While Adsby has a workflow advantage and bundled features, power users may lean toward Google’s native assistant—especially since it’s free and deeply integrated.

The downside? Marketing Advisor lacks workflow and task execution features—which is where Adsby can carve a niche if it enhances automation flexibility and credit-based usability.

2. Scope Is Limited to Search Ads
For agencies managing full-funnel strategies, Adsby currently serves only Search campaigns, covering about 70–80% of what I need. No support yet for Display, Video, Shopping, demand gen or PMAX. So it’s not a full Google Ads suite copilot service—yet.

🎯 Who It's Great For
Beginner to Intermediate Advertisers: Those who get overwhelmed by the full Google Ads interface will love this.

Small Agencies and Freelancers: Particularly those focusing on lead generation or running many search-only accounts.

Early-Stage Startups: Especially if they need to manage their own campaigns without hiring experts.

💡 Why I Give It 5 Tacos (but 5/10 for Pros)
It removes noise, which helps people make better decisions.
It’s clearly on the right development path—and that deserves support.
The product has vision, built by people who get Google Ads.
But for seasoned professionals managing full funnel google ads campaign, it only manage like 30-40% the work

⭐ Final Verdict
Adsby is a promising and practical AI co-pilot for Google Search Ads—especially for the beginner-to-intermediate crowd. With its well-designed UI, smart alerting system, and handy competitive insights, it makes ad management simpler and smarter.

To reach the next level and appeal to advanced advertiser, it needs:
Expanded support beyond Search
Context-aware AI personalization
Deeper workflow automation

But even now, it's worth backing and using. The team behind it clearly understands what matters in Google Ads—and that alone sets it apart.

Edit Jun 21, 2025: after they came back to Appsumo I tried to upgrade, but features that were being promoted on the site as needing an upgrade were not unlocked. Bait and Switch. I asked for months about this on chat and they just said to it was not available unless they returned to Appsumo and had no control over that. But then provided no ability to enagage with that feature upgrade, and THEN blamed a "bad banner" on the confusion - not at all owning up to asking for support around account upgrades for months.

Other bugs like poor AI advice creeping in and missing picking up campaigns from google ads account STILL here.

Somewhat good cross-campaign UI, but also somewhat buggy, and no emphasis on improving the product. Also they have painted LTD users into a corner, as some features are behind upgrade paywall, but without any ability to pay - the tie in with appsumo means you cannot upgrade directly even on request.

They have added a few features that don't fully work, but tbh this feels like a glorified google ads dashboard with better interface, and the improved ability to understand metrics and watch competitors (not working for me in their current app) just make me want to now find a better tool.

TLDR; feels like they don't care about LTD license holders, and are adding buggy features without supporting existing users.

Edit a month after the reply from the company - yes, still buggy and limited on attempt to upgrade, without clear feature availability / levels communicated on AppSumo or on their app directly.

I run all marketing for my wife's house cleaning business and have zero experience with Google Ads. Adsby has been a game changer. Their support is unparalleled and the chat bot has answered hundreds of questions for me. Sometimes it gives me detailed instructions how to ensure my Google Ads account is configured correctly which is my main problem managing Google Ads (tons to learn). My only issue (not a big issue) is the optimizations are often the same day to day or week to week even though I've already included or excluded. I think that issue is that the settings Adsby doesn't configure on my Google Ads account have to match up to setting in Adsby and most likely I was tinkering is my Google Ads account and screwed it up. If you are new to Google Ads don't sit on Adsby. It will get you up and going quickly.

I Bought adsby couple of weeks ago and I am pretty satisfied with it. I did run into couple of issues but support was prompt at helping me out. I cant quite complain about anything. It meets my requirement.
