Q: Agent Handoff WhatsApp

Hi! I’m really loving your software—I’ve already booked a video call with your team (tier 4). I just had one quick question: using the WhatsApp MCP, is it possible to enable agent handoff? In other words, can a human see the conversation and step in when human intervention is needed?

1. Conversation Visibility: Yes, you absolutely can see the full conversation history between your AgenticFlow agent and the end-user on WhatsApp. All interactions are logged and viewable within the agent's interface on our platform.

2. Current Manual Intervention: While not a seamless "live takeover," you can manually intervene. You can see the incoming messages in the agent chat log. To respond yourself, you could potentially click the "Use Agent" button (which normally lets you chat as the agent) and type your human response. The specifics of how/if this gets sent back via the WhatsApp MCP depend on the exact agent flow setup, but it's not a dedicated handoff feature.

3. Dedicated Handoff Feature: A true, seamless "human handoff" feature – where you can pause the AI mid-conversation and take over the live WhatsApp chat directly from the AgenticFlow interface – is not yet implemented.

4. Future Plans (What we're thinking): This is definitely on our radar! We envision a system where:
- The agent can identify situations needing human help (based on rules or AI detection).
- The agent can apply a label (e.g., "Needs Human") and potentially escalate the conversation.-
- You would get notified, see any context notes from the agent, and then be able to jump in and take over the conversation directly.
