Q: After 1 year, we can STILL NOT have DD/MM/YY date format.
Completely unusable and confuses team members. Such a small thing you cannot fix still after 1 year, despite having said "it will be fixed next week", "it will be fixed next month" over and over. I do not trust these developers.

May 28, 2024A: Hey,
As explained earlier, this change is not a minor one on our end and it requires some major changes that can break things for our thousand of users. While I agree with you, this can can cause confusion sometimes, every time I insisted to team on this, they have put some very valid reasons not to do it yet. With so many updates in pipeline, we could not go for it. I explained it multiple times and I admit my guesses were wrong for this one.
We are definitely going to change it. Now that most of the updates are out of pipeline, we can definitely prioritize this one.
Thanks

I have to confess this would be a deal breaker for me. It shows a limit of thought process in the development not to have considered this earlier, and if still not resolved on its own it would stop me purchasing. All the other developments might be great, but this is a fundamental part of any system you are hoping to supply across multiple countries. It's a shame that it's only on a roadmap but with no timeline after such a long period. Maybe your development team need to admit they've got this one wrong and make it a higher priority.
Hey Mike,
I totally agree about the importance of this update with you as well as with the other sumo-ling.
Actually we do reflect the date format in View Modes as well as well in the generated document. Its just that we could not update the format in picker due to technical and structural restraints. But I can definitely push this one now on our priority and will get the pickers updated as well
Thanks so much
dd/mm/yyyy is working fine.
Am I missing something?
What is the issue?
Since Transferwise has been integrated, I will be using it for the new projects.
I am concern what you mean by not being able to display dd/mm/yy when you can do dd/mm/yyyy ?????
Just checking all the basis. Agiled has promised and delivered so far.
Hey
Actually different date format are working fine in View/Document mode but all our date pickers currenty use mm/d/yyyy format and our format choosen in the settings does not apply in date pickers so far. Its working fine when data is being previewed or docs are exported.
We could not get this done due to structural restraints first but has moved it to our priority list now.
Thanks so much.
