I'm having fun with it!!!
Airbrush doesn't allow for a lot of customization in the way of drop-downs to pick inference steps, samplers, modifiers and/or the creation seed, but what I really like about it is that it makes you work on your prompt-writing, which is one of the most important things to be able to get right when using an AI-generator. If you can't write a solid prompt, then you're not going to be able to really bring your vision to life with the words you choose.
It's easy to see my history of creations and to even search the gallery to see others' creations and their prompts.
There's an Image Upscaler, as well. This allowed me to right-click on one of my own Airbrush creations, choose "Copy image address" and upscale one of my own Airbrush creations. I mentioned this, because I watched a YouTube video where the person made it seem like you can only use the Airbrush Image Upscaler to enhance images from the web, but you can definitely upscale your own Airbrush creations.
The upscaled version of my creation became a separate creation in my Airbrush history, so I was able to immediately see the original version of the creation and the upscaled version of the creation next to one another.
You are charged 1 credit for each image upscale.
Speaking of credits, be aware that it's not always 1-for-1, which I am totally okay with.
There are three image dimension sizes to choose from 256x256 (small), 512x512 (large) and 1024x1024 (extra large).
If you choose the Stable Diffusion AI engine, then here are the credit breakdowns:
256x256 (small) - 0.5 credit
512x512 (large) - 1 credit
1024x1024 (extra large) - 4 credits
If you choose the DALL-E 2 AI engine, then here are the credit breakdowns:
256x256 (small) - 8 credits
512x512 (large) - 9 credits
1024x1024 (extra large) - 10 credits
Please keep in mind that Stable Diffusion is open-source (free), and DALL-E 2 is not. This is why you are required to use more credits when using the DALL-E 2 AI engine. And... even though Stable Diffusion is open-source and free, running it on a web server is not, so I would say it is not unreasonable to ask users to give up some credits for the convenience of having Airbrush host the AI engine on their web server(s) so you don't have to spend time and money setting it up and doing/hosting it yourself.
Airbrush came to Appsumo at the most opportune time for me, because I'm at that place where I want to be writing better prompts, and Airbrush is ideal for forcing me to effectively use my words.
Thanks for the great offering, and I'm looking forward to see how Airbrush grows.
