Q: The Slack connection doesn't seem to work.
No test messages are received, either personal and in channel.
Is this a known problem?

Thank you! It is working, but it's impersonating me when sending messages. I want it to send messages as a bot user. Is that possible? It's confusing when the integration sends messages as myself. Not only for me, but also for the people in the channel I'm sending messages to.

No, unfortunately, there is no such possibility and you can simply write in the text of the message that this message is automatic, for example, "This is an automatically generated message" and then the information that is required in this message follows.
