Q: Hi Bilal, Wondering if it is possible to expedite the ability to hide discount option?
Discount field reflecting zero tends to start the price conversation. Additionally a Business owner might not give discount to everyone and every deal. So having to hide that option is critical to the businesses.
Unfortunately that is the only thing that is stopping us to go ahead with the purchase.
Let us know if it can expedited.
Thanks

May 14, 2024A: Hey Anish,
We have lots of things in the pipeline right now but if you don't want discount on the invoice, you can just keep it 0.
thanks

This response concerns me. It is clear that Anish is asking for the "Discount" line to be completely removable from an invoice. But you didn't seem to understand his question and suggested that he just make it "0" - which he actually addressed in his original question. I'm only saying that if there is a problem understanding a simple request like this, that is a flag for me that 1) Other support requests may not be addressed due to lack of understanding, and 2) There may be too much of a distance between the creators and the buyers of this software to be able to build this into a product that meets the needs of the user base.
I'm not trying to be rude. But I was already starting to have some concerns as I began to use the software and that is why I came to read questions and the developer's answers.
Hey
We totally understand the question and agree with Anish as well.
As Anish said, if it can be expediated, so replying to that a work around was suggested to keep the discount 0 until we release an option to hide it entirely (that we will certainly do and we understand the importance that client can be expecting discount if they see 0 discount, so there should be an option to hide this completely).
Based on its importance, we will certainly try to priortise it as much as we can.
I apologise for any confusion my replied caused unintentionally.
Please share your other concerns you were having while using the product. Would love to address them as well.
Thanks
