Q: Can you help me understand your value proposition and unique selling point?
After checking EVERYTHING, I still can't understand:
1) How is BrandBay better than creating a well-structured Google Drive folder-system for each brand we manage, and giving relevant parties access rights to the "parent folder"? I can add colors, code snippets, fonts, and everything else in Google Docs / Sheets too. In fact, I can even organize an entire brand inside a single Google Sheet, and give access to that single sheet to anyone I want.
2) You don't have auto image-conversion or resizer, nor do you have a convenient way of creating a visually appealing brand book / style-guide from scratch. Do you offer any benefits for creating/maintaining a brand beyond a subjectively more convenient way to organize brand assets?
Not trying to be hostile; I just really don't understand your value proposition – but am open to learning more :)

Mar 4, 2025A: Hello and thank you for your questions! Of course there is a subjective nature to how your team or any team may prefer to work, so we do not take your questions as hostile, and I can answer as best as possible :)
Also if you do have a specific use case that you'd like to discuss more with us in-depth please also feel free to reach out to our support team and we would be glad to talk further about how you can use BrandBay in your business!
1) We found that using Google Drive and other similar solutions left us with two main problems: managing multiple brands, and accessing our assets quickly. Oftentimes we found ourselves in the position of needing to search through a lot of folders to find our assets, which often led to messaging back and forth of where to find things, having personal files mixed in with business and a lot of other inefficiencies. Now you can create a very organized hierarchy in Google Drive, but then the next problem was we would always have to keep our Google Drive tab open to access things like colors when we were designing, so the browser extension really helped change that for us.
2) I could be wrong, but I was unaware that Google Drive did image conversion and resizing. But this is a feature we have had requested on our roadmap and is something we aim to develop in the future :) Also we do actually have a way to create brand style guides, that would be using our share page feature.
You can create entire brands or collections of assets as your style guide and share them how you would like, and even embed them on a webpage! A good example of this is our demo on our site: https://www.brandbay.io/demo
So I would say from this perspective the main differences are 1. ease of setup and use with our browser extension, 2. multi-brand setup, 3. white-label which gives agencies a lot of flexibility of how they work with clients, and 4. our team permissions that make working with multiple brands very straightforward without needing a backend admin to keep track of.
Hopefully this helps brings some clarity on the value of BrandBay, and thank you again for your questions!

I literally came here to ask the same question. It looks cool but how is this better and/or more secure or convenient than google drive?
