Q: Is it PIPEDA or HIPPA Compliant? Any use case in healthcare?

Is it PIPEDA or HIPPA Compliant? Can it take shift notes and task checklist to be obligatory completed before marking shift close? If it's not HIPPA or PIPEDA compliant we cannot use it in Healthcare in North America.

A: Hi there,

Our system is fully PIPEDA and HIPAA compliant, as it operates on Amazon AWS. You can find more information about it on the AWS website here: https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/hipaa-compliance/.

Currenty, employees can add notes when clocking in or out and finish shifts at their convenience. However, we plan to incorporate your suggestions in upcoming releases.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Could you clarify how Camelo ensures full PIPEDA and HIPAA compliance beyond using AWS as the hosting provider? Specifically, what processes are in place for handling sensitive data, controlling access, maintaining audit trails, and reporting potential breaches? Additionally, can you provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to confirm how data is processed and stored?

Sorry, this is a very technical document. Could you please confirm whether your platform is HIPAA compliant?
