Q: Crawl/Websites

The crawl limit seems like it's a fixed amount based on the other questions/reviews I'm seeing, but what I was wondering if the sites that are connected can be changed/swapped out or if its one of those situations where once a website is assigned that it uses up that seat and it can't be changed. For agency work, I wouldn't want to keep a client on the plan if they are no longer a paying customer, and I would hope that the crawled pages consumed would add back to my crawl budget if i remove sites but I don't see anything about that. How does that work?

A: Hi there!

Great question about managing websites and crawl limits in ClickRank! You're right to observe that the crawl limit is a fixed lifetime quota per account, as detailed in our knowledge base.

However, the way you manage those pages is incredibly flexible and designed with agencies in mind.

While you can't directly reclaim page slots after deleting a site (the optimizations are tied to that site record), you can absolutely change and swap out the websites connected to your account.

Think of your page quota as a pool of resources you can allocate across different sites as needed.

You are in complete control of which projects use those resources. When a client is no longer using your service, you simply remove their site from ClickRank and those resources then become available for other clients.
It's dynamic and adaptable to your agency's ever-changing needs.

This means you're not locked into any specific websites; you get to utilize the full power of ClickRank's optimization across your client base, maximizing the value of your lifetime quota.

The flexibility to easily switch clients in and out allows you to focus on delivering outstanding SEO results, improving your client's rankings and boosting your agency’s bottom line.
