Not ready, too much impact and way too much risk to use this.
I am using Cloudflare for years, for myself, for clients, so I could make a fair comparison. Cloudflare has a huge reputation and I should not have gambled by even trying Cloudfilt. I tried it on the most urgent website (second mistake) which is the online learning environment for my students. We have had some issues in the past but can say Cloudflare did the job: IP filtering, WAF, Bot protection e.a. - I was triggered by the "user friendly" claim by Cloudfilt on AppSumo. In the questions the AppSumo community asked multiple times how Cloudfilt compared with Cloudflare and I admit, I just tried it on one website, so I will not comment on the theoretical possibility Cloudfilt and Cloudflare could be compared, but in my situation: No.
After adding the javascript before the closing head tag, and after adding the PHP block, I was immediately kicked out of my own website. Without warning. Without any "walkthrough". A page of Cloudfilt opened and I should fill in a number as Captcha to (re)gain access. Problem: the Captcha does not work, no number is shown. So I cannot enter the website.
Going back to settings, whitelist manually, IP address, country 1, anonther country (just to be sure), no luck. Only a non functional Recaptcha. I found the option just to disable protection for this website, turned protection off, no help, no access. Went for a swim to cool off and to wait for a few hours. Before this, started the chat with Cloudfilt. After two hours: no response, no access.
I need to continue working on the website as my students are waiting for grading. So needed to go to the database and cleanup the Cloudfilt mentiones in order to regain access. I gave a shout of joy that I regained my website. This stress pointed to one option: refund.

Jul 6, 2025Hello,
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially on such an important site as your online learning environment.
The issue you encountered is due to the Captcha form only remembering the last session when multiple pages are opened, which prevents access to the site. We have identified this malfunction, and our team is actively working on resolving it. The fix will be deployed in the update scheduled for July 8th.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or needs.
