I’ll start by saying I’m glad I didn’t get this deal elsewhere, and feel for those that spent a lot more when they did. At the same time, I’m glad it’s here on Appsumo at a bit of a reduced rate. So far I really like it.
Code smash is just simple enough for even me to *sort of* understand - says a lot. It’s similar to Coolify, I think, but a bit easier for nobs. Having gone through the process of self hosting n8n on VPS (and hiring someone on Fiverr to help me), I would’ve liked having this platform. But there’s a lot of really popular self hosted apps preloaded bolt.diy, n8n, active pieces , and many more - you just click to deploy (from this platform to your VPS). I’m still trying to figure out how to get feee AWS/Lightsail.
Somehow I haven’t used the gpt integration yet. Looking forward to other VPS options!
If you’re a “vibe coder” this might be a nice way to deploy your stuff, which was/is a major point of intimidation for me. You don’t always have an IDE that has a “click to deploy” option.

Thanks for an honest review Lou. Make sure to DM to get started with the ChatGPT integration if you need any help!
Well, I know how to deploy a website, but I have always wanted to be able to deploy from Git. AWS integration seemed a far-off dream, so when I saw what CodeSmash had to offer, I was more than a little intrigued. I purchased a couple of codes to give it a try, and wow! It works like a dream! It wasn't straightforward, and I had some issues with integrating Git. Mario offered to help on Discord, but I managed to fix it after watching the video (which I really should have done first and something that I highly recommend, they are really well thought out - thank you Mario :) I first deployed a static site that CodeSmash deployed via Amazon CloudFront, next I deployed a WordPress site, and that was great - I saw that CodeSmash created the Instance and also the necessary pipelines 'under the hood' - something that I could not have done on my own (as yet). I haven't played around with everything, but the app works well, and I wanted to get this review in to show my support for this product and the founder who clearly cares a lot about this product. The roadmap looks exciting, and if the items come to fruition, this will be an even more amazing product. If I could ask/suggest one thing (that I don't need right now but can imagine maybe doing so in the future), it would be Amazon EC2 integration. Still, even without this, I love CodeSmash and I really look forward to exploring all it offers. Mario, thank you, thank you for making one of my developer dreams come true!
