Q: 1) Can graphs & charts be embedded in Apple Keynote and MS Powerpoint slide decks?
2) If I get multiple codes so that clients can use this, is there any way to put my branding on it and integrate it with my own app?

When you share a visual story, it will generate a live link which means the graph is interactive and can be auto-updated if you set a schedule on it, that's why it's called "live".
Headless is a URL parameter that removes all the Columns header (also footer), so this single graph can be purely embedded in your own application or page.
compare this example: https://columns.ai/visual/view/mdjQtHG3FgvSyy
and its headless version: https://columns.ai/visual/view/mdjQtHG3FgvSyy?headless
Great question!
The visual story made on Columns is hosted by Columns online, you have a few ways to use it 1) download it as PNG or SVG 2) copy the embedded code once you shared it (public or email list) 3)headless live link
The embed code uses iframe, I'm not sure if Keynote or Powerpoint supports that for live graphs, will do some quick research.
If multiple codes are applied, Columns will create a team so that you can manage membership of your team through an email list. You can always set your own preferences such as coloring schema, or brand logo that always automatically go with the graphs you're creating.
Regarding app integration, yes, Columns is pretty open and has integrated with a bunch of platforms, but you need to tell me what your scenario is and then I can answer whether we can support it.
Feel free to contact support@columms.ai for your more specific questions! Love to provide timely support as much as we can.

What is a "headless live link"?

Keynote can embed a video that is hosted elsewhere but unfortunately not a static image, and not an iframe or other means of embedding miscellaneous web pages. I can only guess why they would support one media and not the others. My guess is that videos are supported as a remote media (not copied into the slides) because it is difficult for many people to download videos that they wish to put in their Keynote slides (YouTube doesn't make this easy), and because it would make the Keynote file massively larger, and perhaps because YouTube is more likely to fight with them about copyright issues than almost anyone else.
Re: "embedding"
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, that makes total sense, Keynote/Powerpoint is not mainly online format, I feel live embedding is not a natural fit for them.
By the way, if you have liked Columns, please help write a review for us, thanks! :)
