Q: Word limits

I understand from the questions below the word limit is a one off, not a monthly thing. I think it could be better explained on your website.

In an instance of running out of words, can you:

- delete some and regain the credits
- continue manually translating without extra charges
- buy more machine translated words, what are the costs? Upgrading to next tier may not be feasible as you may just need words, not more page views, so would be great to know what are the options

thanks for the answer

A: For example, if you’ve used 15,000 words and added 2 languages, you can manually delete unnecessary translations either for specific languages or for the entire website at once.

When you do this, your usage statistics — including words, views, and languages — will be reduced accordingly.

If you want to replace your current languages with new ones, you can delete them and start again with 0 used words. However, please note that your previous translations will not be saved.

Once you reach your word limit, the translation widget will continue to work on already translated pages, but new pages will not be translated.

We do not offer extra word packs. Our Tiers are designed based on average website usage, and larger websites typically require more languages simultaneously.

thanks for the quick reply. If the appsumo deal is no longer active does it mean the only way to get more machine translation credits is switching into subscription then?

I guess manual translations wont be affected?

The AppSumo deal will remain active until you reach your usage limits.
We do not offer "extra word packs," but if you use all your words or decide to add more languages, you can upgrade to the next Tier at any time. All your current translations will be saved
