We used ConveyThis Tier 5 on a larger client site. It was easy to use, and the translation was good. ROI is insane. Thanks! We might buy an additional T5 for some of our smaller projects.

We initially had high hopes for ConveyThis. On the surface, it appeared to be a strong contender in the multilingual space. I’m giving them two stars, one for the potential, and it technically worked. But I feel that’s where the positives end, and here's why.

The backend interface could use refinement. It feels a bit dated and clunky when compared to other tools in the space. There were also some display errors with the visual editor, which seems excessive, and it would have been better to focus on the translation aspects of the app.

What was not made clear at the time of purchase was this: once you hit 500,000 words, your LTD plan is effectively dead in the water. You’re forced to either stay capped and frozen or “upgrade” to a paid account, where they graciously offer a 20% discount. It’s a classic bait-and-switch tactic dressed up as a generous offer. However, it costs much more than our current tool, even with the discount.

Instead of just paying for additional words beyond 500,000, you essentially have to forfeit them and switch to a normal plan.

If your site has around 120 pages, including blog posts, you’ll likely hit the word limit quickly. At that point, the LTD became effectively unusable, with no room left to grow or expand multilingual support without switching to a paid plan.

So now we are stuck.

Response to your response. Now you're being rude, just as you were to others...You have a long way to go before you reach WeGlot, so I am not making things up. Yes, your Bait and Switch alone is enough for a 2-Star rating, and is my opinion, which I am entitled to have after buying around 400 deals on this platform. I am surprised AppSumo would even allow that type of arrangement.

It looks like the 500,000 words is not enough for you and this is a major source of your complaints on AppSumo:

No, that's way more than a pay now, and it makes this LTD a non-starter; there's no sense in it if you get cancelled out once you pass 500,000 words, which is not a lot for any professional site with a blog. I have done a whole deal thing on AppSumo with Bright Plugins, and this is not them, it’s your deal you set up with them. So, it's bad, and now we're stuck with one site we've already moved, which sucks. I would suggest creating higher tiers and people should see a disclaimer where they understand once they get past 500,000 they are screwed and will have to be a regular customer.

That's complete transparency there, and I don't think that's being rude at all; I just want to let you know that we're stuck and not happy. We're not staying and will be migrating back next week. It just takes a lot of time, so implying we're staying or using it's also not correct.

Great tool for translating different languages on your website to increase global reach. The app works well with WordPress sites. I recommend this app.

As someone who needed to expand my website's reach, I found ConveyThis to be an absolute game-changer.
