Tried It, Liked It, Using It Already
Bought Tier 4 of CookiePal yesterday and tried it out on one of my domains. Very easy setup, and it does what it’s supposed to do.
Setting up cookie compliance is never truly plug-and-play, but this comes pretty close.
Consent Mode V2 is in place, which is a plus.
The limits are quite generous, although the top tier could have pushed the page views per domain a bit higher.
All in all, a lifetime deal that is well worth it. As with most deals on AppSumo or similar platforms, the product is still in development—but this is good enough for me to start using on several websites immediately.

You're right, cookie compliance is never fully plug-and-play, but we’ve tried to get as close as possible without making it a mess of settings and jargon. Good to hear Consent Mode V2 stood out, that was a must-have for us from day one.
Fair point on the top-tier page views. We're collecting input like this to shape our next updates, so that note is going straight on the list.
