Q: Time tracking features ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

For your time tracker, can the admin enforce screenshots for logging time?

The timing of screenshots is random, but is there a rough estimation on how frequent they are?

Do you have fraud detection features? Like detecting abnormal behaviour, mouse jigglers, external hardware mouse jigglers, identical screenshots etc.

Does the time tracker have an auto pause feature after a certain amount of inactivity?

Assuming yes - can we modify the inactivity period? Once the pause occurs, does it remove the associated inactive time logged prior to the pause or does it keep the inactive time logged?

If screenshots are deleted by the admin or employee, does the associated time get removed too?

Do you consider the time tracking features to be suitable for professional use in its current state, for hourly paid work that depends on the accuracy?

First of all, thank you so much for those detailed questions

- Screenshots are roughly inside 10-minute intervals.
- Fraud detection features are in the Roadmap for around mid-july
- Same goes for inactivity.
- Time deletion is still manual.

To sum up, time tracking is suitable for professional use, but with some level of trust to your employees.

Q: Customer Portal and Seats

Hi there-

Does Corcava have a customer portal? I am looking for a solution that will allow me to onboard customers, have a place to collect files from them etc.

What is considered a "Seat" is the users like employees or Clients? If Clients are intended to log in.

Unfortnunately we don't have a customer portal, but that's in our plans. I'd be grateful if you gave your opinion on how to build it.

Seat is employees. Clients can login but client users aren't counted towards the limit.

This appears to be a great product; however, I noticed that the Q&A section hasn't been addressed. Could you please respond to the questions that have been raised? Leaving them unanswered gives the impression that customer service isn't a priority, which raises concerns about potential issues should you move away from this platform. I’m genuinely interested and would appreciate some clarity.

Q: Why Require Credit Card Info for a Trial?

I visited your website to try out your software, but I noticed that it requires credit card information to access the trial. I personally avoid purchasing anything on AppSumo without first trying it out, as I don’t want to buy something only to request a refund and leave a negative review — which I feel isn't fair to the founders.

I’m unsure of your strategy and reasoning behind requesting credit card details for a trial, but I believe it could discourage potential subscribers, leading to lower retention. In the long run, it might even cause issues with unauthorized payment claims. My suggestion would be to offer a true trial experience first, allowing users to see the value of your software before asking for their payment info.

That said, would it be possible to arrange a 1-on-1 demo session since you don't give a true trail?

Currently we have two types of tasks. One tasks in project management realm, you get access to them by creating a project and later board. And on the board you create tasks.

Client tasks functionality is created on "client" view page. If you have trouble accessing it or something isn't clear, please tell me in a few details.
