Q: Quick Question: Can CrawlWP Replace Rank Math SEO?
Hi Collins, Hope you're doing great!
I recently came across CrawlWP on AppSumo and I’m really impressed by what you’ve built—especially the instant indexing and performance insights. As someone who actively manages multiple WordPress sites, tools that save time and boost search visibility are always top of mind.
I had a quick question: Can CrawlWP completely replace the use of a plugin like Rank Math SEO? If so, how does it differ in terms of functionality, and what makes it a better option?
Really looking forward to understanding how your tool fits into the SEO stack and whether it can streamline or even consolidate the current setup I use.
A: It can't replace Rank Math yet, one of our goals of launching on Appsumo was to raise funds for the development to make it a full SEO plugin. See our roadmap https://crawlwp.com/feature-requests/seo-tools/
Thanks for the roadmap and feedback, I will test Tier 1
Q: google api question
I read on your website about the google api indexing and have a couple questions. 1. who you say that the one click to google councel to do it manually, lets say I have 50 pages can those all be indexed at one time through the councel safely. 2. do you need to use googles api to get indexed? im panning for a websit4 with a lot of pages and want it to be done safely. sorry for the noob questions
A: 1. For 50 pages, that would be 50 clicks. 2. We use the Google API to submit your content for indexing. even if you plan to manually submit them in the Console, we still need you to complete the Google API integration in CrawlWP so the plugin can check your pages index status and display your website SEO stats.
We have many sites already using the Google Indexing API without facing penalties. We only offered the one-click submission on GSC for those who might be cautious about it.
Q: What's your wordpress history?
Hi , which other wp apps have you previously developed? Ty
Hi, As far as I know, there's a daily limit on how many URLs can be submitted through Google Search Console. To go beyond that, you have to request a higher quota using Google’s API Indexing form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc_mpLw3WnnCt3pVbUHYZZ6ZdOS-c0GIj-WZ_k54SG-jDqCXQ/viewform
But if you read the form carefully, Google clearly states that increased quotas are only granted for sites that submit a large number of job posting or live stream URLs. This means you can’t increase the indexing limit via the API for regular content like articles or blog posts.
So my question is—how are you managing to index more URLs than the default limit? If there’s a method you’re unable to disclose, that’s understandable. But I’d still like to know if your plugin has any cap on how many URLs it can submit for indexing.
A: Our plugin operates within your limit. If it hits the rate limit set by the Google Indexing API, we will pause sending indexing requests for 24 hours to allow the limit to be lifted or reset.

For now, it complements your existing SEO plugin.
