Q: Hi, a few questions:
1) Does Creem support the EU VAT reverse charge procedure? (An entrepreneur with a European tax ID can have the taxes automatically deducted directly from the gross price).
2) Can I design the invoice template myself (EU-compliant?)
3) Can I sell a product at a fixed price (let's say software) and also automatically create a subscription, e.g. for software updates?
4) Can I recommend a interested buyer additional products for a product in the basket?
5) Does the Merchant of Record laws also prohibit a combination of a service and a digital product all in one? E.g. selling website templates with included support for installation and updates?
Thanks for your Infos!

1 - Yes, in our checkout process, you can add a Tax ID, including VAT, and if applicable, it will deduct the VAT from the amount being charged at checkout
2 - As a Merchant of Record, the invoices that your customers receive are ultimately from Creem, as they are transacting against us, therefore it is not possible to design custom invoices.
3 - You are able to sell products with a one time payment model, and a subscription. It is not possible to mixture both models, or have multiple products in a cart.
4 - We do not support checkout cart functionality at the moment
5 - You could sell the website template, and include the support free of charge on that product. For the customer, it would ultimately be the same, but from the product perspective you are only charging for the product itself.
