IT NEEDS A LOT OF WORK TO MAKE IT FUNCTIONAL

I tested the tool for two months in a real-life work environment, so I can speak from experience as someone who used the tool with a work group of 15 people on different operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices.

The first thing is that the tool is full of bugs, and they're not simple bugs, but serious ones. From the interface itself and its design issues to the internal programming, things that should be simple don't work. For example, when you create a task, you can't directly enter a description; you have to create it and then modify it. Many times, the changes and modifications weren't even saved correctly, and a lot of time was wasted.

Video calls don't work with just one person; forget about group video calls; they simply don't work.

The chat behaves quite strangely; when synced between devices, messages don't appear correctly; some appear earlier, others later, and this is a very bad idea for tracing a conversation.

The mobile app definitely doesn't work. The platform is full of bugs. The mobile app is a bug in itself. It constantly closes on its own, is completely unstable, and notifications are acting haphazardly.

If you have 15 users and you want to delete one, it's impossible. There's a bug that prevents you from deleting it, and that slot is lost. Support's solution is to send you to buy more codes.

And finally, support is the most complex part of all this. Obviously, it's a small group, but support can go days without anyone responding. I did it via email and live support chat, and there really isn't a difference. It's pretty weak support, especially because the only responses I received regarding all the errors I found were along the lines of:

"We'll fix it in the next update."

An update that NEVER arrived in these two months. When I bought the codes, support said it would be in February, then at the end of February, then in March, and finally, the month ended, and the updates and fixes were never implemented.

Edworking could be a good idea, but it's really in beta right now; it's not a platform ready to provide project management solutions. There's no point in having aesthetics and an ornate interface if the platform runs unstably. This is supposed to be work software, and if an application can't guarantee it'll do its job, then it should reconsider its position in the market.

In the end, I decided to request a refund, as there are no clear dates for the supposed app update, much less any responses from support, who ultimately have all their hopes pinned on the supposed app rewrite.

My advice is that if you're a professional who needs to connect a workgroup for a serious project, look at other options. But if you're someone who simply wants to help beta test a new platform and doesn't mind spending time, then this is the place for you.

But this app is definitely not ready to provide the robustness and stability of any basic project manager.

Hi Andres,

Thanks for your detailed review! We appreciate the time you spent testing Edworking with your team, and we understand that no platform is perfect—especially one that is constantly evolving.

Building a fully functional project management platform that works seamlessly across all devices, browsers, and operating systems is no small feat (if only it were as easy as snapping our fingers!). That said, we’ve been working hard on a major update, and many of the issues you mentioned—like task descriptions and meeting rooms—are already fixed.

As for support, while we’d love to have an army of agents responding instantly 24/7, the reality is that no lifetime deal service operates at that level. We do our best to assist everyone as quickly as possible, and we’re always improving.

It’s a shame you won’t be around to see the new Edworking, but we respect your decision and wish you the best with whatever platform meets your needs. Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll check back and see how far we’ve come. 😉
