User inputs email address/info/choices on my website using Emailpref form > that information is passed to my email service > emails are sent from my email service with Emailpref code embedded into that email for managing the subscription > if the user clicks the Emailpref code, the user is taken to the Emailpref dialogue box to manage their preferences > that info is then sent back to my email service
Is that accurate?
If so, that would be perfect for me, since I have several different email newsletters for completely different interests. For example, I do something like helping people with language learning (e.g., Portuguese, Cantonese, Japanese, Catalan, Magyar) and people generally want information on only one of them, which makes it hard for me to collect email addresses.
A: Yes! you nailed it! it works exactly like that. Although we go beyond that in a sense, as if there is any change on the email service side, we will also get that information so the preferences are always up to date and accurate.
Around the multi-language support if you are interested in us supporting new ones we are happy to provide those with some help :)
Okay, very helpful to know. Looks extremely useful. This lack of functionality has actually been a major pain point for me with most email services.
Will reach out if I need more help. Thank you! 🙏
Q: Clarification on Unsubscribe Link Compatibility with ActiveCampaign
Hi Emailpref-Team,
we use ActiveCampaign. Can your link be used as an unsubscribe link, which is mandatory according to ActiveCampaign's guidelines and must appear at the bottom of an email labeled "Unsubscribe"? Or do we need an additional link for updating email preferences?
ActiveCampaign ensures the unsubscribe link is always present so it can't be removed. Although I have seen some companies hide that link, but there is no official way to do that
What I’ve seen some of our customers do is include the Emailpref link above the required “Unsubscribe” link in ActiveCampaign, usually with a clear CTA like “Update your preferences”. This way, subscribers have the chance to adjust what they receive instead of unsubscribing completely.
ActiveCampaign enforces their own unsubscribe link, so it can’t be removed
Q: Contact Update Information
Hi, would a use case of this be able to allow users to update their own contact information such as addresses? I have been looking into a program that can do this for our contact lists for some time. Ex: Contact list users want to update their phone / email / local address if it changes. Many Thanks!
A: Hello! With out preference page users can update their email but we don't support yet for custom fields. This is an interesting feature that we could talk offline, feel free to write to us into our chat or contact for at emailpref.com
Q: How Does Acumbamail White Label Intergrate with EmailPref
Hi I have the Acumbamail White Label LTD as I offer a subscription model to my clients. Would your Tier 2 or 3 provide me the ability to have multiple domains so I can incorporate in their accounts?
A: Hello! we don't currently support multiple domains. The main problem with this approach is that all members will get mixed up for all your clients and we suggest instead to buy a different subscription for each client, this will ensure no user will get mixed up between preferences.
Although I must say I understand where you are coming from and it does seem like an interesting feature to add to...
I work closely with our product team and would love to learn more about your use case, especially around supporting multiple domains under your white label setup. If it's a good fit, we’ll definitely explore how we can include it in the AppSumo deal for you.
Feel free to connect with us via live chat on our website , we're typically online from 9 AM to 9 PM CET
I would find it VERY useful if you added the feature to have sub accounts each with their own domain and limits. I could be wrong but I believe this is what the OP was looking for.
Q: Is this the correct flow?
User inputs email address/info/choices on my website using Emailpref form > that information is passed to my email service > emails are sent from my email service with Emailpref code embedded into that email for managing the subscription > if the user clicks the Emailpref code, the user is taken to the Emailpref dialogue box to manage their preferences > that info is then sent back to my email service

Also, are you in Madrid? San Francisco? Delaware?

Our goal is to have only one single link.

Q: Roadmap
Has your roadmap been updated? or what is planned? Say in ETA 6 months?
Tomas_Emailpref
Apr 3, 2025A: Hello Wocapi,
We just finished a release that enhances greatly the experience in the admin site making it faster.
For the roadmap what we are working next would be an integration with Zapier and finishing the implementation to embed forms properly.

Hi cbesett,
Yes, this is something many users have been asking for recently. How many sub-accounts are you looking to add?
