Q: Premium Plan - can’t update email address?
Hello! Is it normal to not to be able to update email address on the premium plan via settings? The settings page seems to be read only besides ‘delete account’ (although I didn’t try that one lol).

Mar 19, 2025A: Yes, this is intentional for security and compliance reasons. Imagine a team of four people - if one person changed the email, they could access company data from a non-compliant address. To update your email, please reach out to our support team.
Thanks for your reply. Though don’t really understand for security and compliance why an account owner role user can’t update their data self-serve. I can update my email/data on e.g. 1password, Xero, GitHub, PayPal and Wise via settings. Afaik team users can also for most of those cases, besides maybe PayPal.
