If you're even thinking about publishing a book, get Tier 4 before they change their mind! Trust me—I’ve got three books on Amazon, and this is the real deal. Any other tier just doesn’t make sense unless you're only looking to slap something together fast to be called a one time author.

But this? This doesn’t look like AI at all. It’s sharp, professional, and exactly what you need if you want a high-quality result. Don’t overthink it—go Tier 4 or go home.

I am underwhelmed after having generated my first book. I still get a certain "Wow sensation" when working with AI so I was excited when I downloaded my book.

It came out to 162 pages (way too many) and most of the pages were very similar. I didn't read the whole book but every paragraph that I did read sounded like versions of the same paragraph over and over again.

I tried to prompt with a clear and systematic approach but I don't think there were enough questions to properly guide the writing. I think each chapter and sub-chapter should have had it's own prompt.

The final book will require a lot of editing. So much in fact, that I will scrap the entire book and write it with Claude.ai instead.

I wanted to like First Book AI but for $49 it just wasn't worth it for me. There are better AI tools out there that give you much more flexibility.

PS: I was surprised that the limit of 8 chapters and 3 sub-chapters was in fact a requirement and not a limit. I tried to submit a shorter outline but I got the following email.

"The outline does not meet the criteria because Chapters 3 and 5 each have only 2 subchapters instead of the required 3. Could you kindly adjust it to 8 chapters, each with 3 subchapters, and re-submit it for review?"

Well, i was so excited to try, inserted 2 chapters ( even though i had almost all chapters ready), i didn't find button to add more text or edit and... book went to production! I could not catch it. Of course it was all mechanical. Due to lack of information .The fact that i can't edit before i want to publish make it hard. I have only 2 books ( still don't understand 2 books for life of membership?) Even though i got my first book reversed and i can start all over, but now i hold till i make entire book before i submit. If you ask me what would i like to see- it's after table of content i would like to have 1 chapter at the time. Maybe discuss which chapter should go first, some options i would say Maybe draft or test option . NOT ENOUGH BUTTONS!

This is a huge update from other book writing AI apps I have seen in the past. The setup for each book, enables enough personalisation and direction to create a book that feels like it could have taken months to write. If you take the time at the beginning and write the intro and anecdotes, you will get a very good result. Either a finished book or something you can jump in and edit instead of looking at a blank sheet of paper. Excellent credibility builder for the expertise business.
