Q: Better Quality Images
I have added my own OpenAI API key. This activates more text models for me, but it does not add any extra Image models. I am only allowed to use Dall-e 3, I cannot use GPT Image to create images, even with my own API key. When I try to add it it says "Upgrade Your Account To Unlock" This Feature" The image quality of Dall-e 3 is not good enough any more.

May 28, 2025A: Using your own OpenAI API key (BYOK) does not increase usage limits within Followr. What it does enable is access to higher-quality results depending on the model provider — but it doesn’t remove limits entirely, since all image generation still goes through our infrastructure.
This means that even with your API key, we can’t allow unlimited usage, as it would still rely on our processing and servers.
If you’re looking for better quality than DALL·E 3, simply select another image provider inside Followr (e.g., Ideogram, Leonardo, etc.). These are accessible with your own keys and offer superior visual results depending on your style needs.
Also, just a reminder — our Plus plan is only $99/year, to upgrade ALL companies but it’s totally optional if you're planning to use BYOK with third-party providers instead.
