I've been using Followr for 2 to 3 months now, initially as under the subscription model and then through Appsumo, and I feel I've got the measure of it.

I initially had problems linking Threads, but that issue resolved itself. I've had a couple of posts fail, but that's something I've encountered with similar platforms before, and I believe it's more to do with the Social Platform's API than the launch app.

The platform is pretty easy to use. I haven't used the image generation feature, as the graphics I use come from elsewhere, but I expect it to be as good as any other image AI. I have used the text generator and found that it produces pretty good AI-created text with the right prompting; however, I prefer to use off-platform text creation tools. I'm sure the AI tools would work well for someone who needed them.

My main issues are with the cross-platform tools. Firstly, they work, but when changing between the various platform entry forms, it is difficult to tell which one you're editing, which has resulted in me accidentally overwriting text I've just edited. When editing posts for Twitter and Threads, where there is a limited character count, you cannot add more characters than the platform restriction allows. This is quite understandable, but when I'm editing, I end up having to unnecessarily delete bits to make space, which is not convenient. I would prefer Followr to display the character count and provide full access to edit the text; this would make things easier. Finally, if you generate a Facebook Post, you can then add in other platforms, but there is no facility to get AI to regenerate the text from the original prompt to adjust it for different platforms. To achieve this, you need to create new posts for each platform, which is a time-consuming process. This is why I create my text off-platform and paste it in.

I find these are small things overall. I have established a good workflow and hope Followr will continue to develop the platform to remove these restrictions. Followr offers me most of the features I need at the right price.
