Is there a way to avoid paying the fees on the site? I remember reading it in the comments but am having no look finding it. am i able to add my own payment link without the use of zapier?

Yes! The No Commission Addon allows you to sell products on your Forento academy without paying any sales commission fees. The addon is available on the Billing & Plans page (only visible if you've got a lifetime deal redeemed since it's an exclusive offer).
If you subscribe to the addon, you'll be able to:
1. Accept external payments and manually assign & revoke product access to members
2. Sell directly on your academy (using Stripe & PayPal) without paying any sales commission fee.
3. Connect to Zapier to automate processes of accepting external payments and assigning access.

Hey Zook. The addon referred to above (No Commission Addon) is $19 - $29/month, depending on your lifetime deal plan. The $50/month addon is the Scale addon, which includes a bunch of additional features to the ones mentioned above.
Sumoling88PLUSSo if I'm clear on what I'm reading, no matter what you pay for this deal we'll still pay a monthly fee regardless, right? Once you actually calculate the costs we're paying the monthly fee anyway at the cost of being on a bigger platform.
Hey @Sumoling88, There's no monthly fee associated with any of the lifetime deals that we sell. The addons discussed in this thread are optional, and exclusively offered to lifetime deal customers. The only fee associated with Forento (other than the purchase through AppSumo) is the transactional fee of 2-10% per sale.
