Q: USD Invoices and Lexoffice – Best Practice?
Hi - I'm based in Germany.
I currently receive a lot of invoices in USD (e.g., ChatGPT, AppSumo), usually paid by credit card.
Do you have any ideas or recommendations for how I can enter these invoices into Lexoffice with the correct EUR amount paid?

Actually, we don't currently have integration with LexOffice, so we can't help you right know. But, the integration has already been requested by another user, so if you upvote it it will get more priority.
For existing integrations with accounting software (like QuickBooks), what we do is take the exchange rate and convert the amount automatically to the main currency (EUR in this case). So, when the integration is available, that's probably how it will work.

If the invoices are stored in a file share, that's fine – uploading them to Lexoffice is the easy part;-)
The real question is: can it match a USD invoice to the corresponding EUR amount from the bank statement?
Yes, it can! :) We convert the amounts and check for small variations from the exchange rate, so they get matched 99% of the time.
