Cannot Activate via Appsumo

Get issues with redirect URLs from Appsumo. I suspect this is due to Get Invoice being rebranded to Tailride with a new domain.

Frustrating. Cannot use this product as it cannot be activated.

This concept appears to be very good and promising at first glance.

I usually don't do product reviews here, actually this is my first one.

But upon closer testing, of the functionality of this seemingly significant “timesaving” portal service, there is important functions that unfortunately do not to work, and they also do not appear to be fully developed. Therfore my two tacos.

FIRST PRIORITY IS:
The function “Automated hourly scan” (in this case, only for three IMAP sources), with its default “'Scan range” set to three hours. It does not work.

In fact, it has been running here for two days, where the “Status” during each hourly run states “completed” (shown with a green label), with “0” invoices found – hmm?

HOWEVER, if I instead perform and have performed a “Find Previous Invoices” run intermittently in the same time period (the last two days), this function has, every time, found various documents, totaling 163 items from the exact same three IMAP sources.

The fact that the automatic scan does not find any documents at all and thus does not function is, of course, a total showstopper. Because there is no significant time saving in having to continuously log into the Portal service and retrieve the documents manually by performing a “Find Previous Invoices” run.

ANOTHER PRIORITY IS:
The function "Insight," which is described in the AppSumo deal as the ability to easily and daily monitor the company's expenses and business operations by filtering expenses by Vendor and Category. Additionally, one can see how much their active subscriptions cost periodically...

Yes, this function description, which seems both accurate and quite obvious, could indeed provide important and flexible monitoring and Key Insight into Consumption/Spendings precisely where the company's expenses are collected.

The idea is certainly good enough.

Factually, it also appears that the desired Insight should be selectable and filterable based on all the processed documents displayed in the list on the left side, where the total number of Vendors/Supplier documents and where the total amount are also shown.

Thus, the desired Insight should be visualized in the "Consumption/Spending Chart" at the top right, from which one can choose the "time frame" for which they wish to view their data...

In the window below the "Consumption/Spending Chart", there is a window with a list of what GetInvoice assumes are "Subscriptions".

However, many of these are actually not Subscriptions at all, but rather, for example, company rent, leasing, and including AppSumo Invoices, which in themselves are also not "Subscriptions" but LTD.

I notice that all the Invoices in this list appear with the label "Next billing: Date X, Year (monthly)", which may also apply to "non-Subscription" Invoices.

Thus, nothing seems generally correct in this so-called "Insight" regarding the AppSumo description?

Because at the moment - and apparently - there is no "link" from any of the displayed Vendors/Suppliers and neither from the tabs where one can choose between the Supplier and Tags categories. The function is completely inactive, and it cannot be selected and filtered as described for the desired expenses, which should then be visualized in the Consumption/Spending Chart.

P.S. If you look at the YouTube segment here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTsCQ4OPtL8 (Turn Your Invoices and Receipts into Useful Insights), it is evident that none of the observations I have made regarding the shortcomings in the ability to "monitor the company's expenses through choices and data filtering" in the "Insights" function are displayed at all.

THE LAST PRIORITY IS:
The function 'Statements' - reconciliation of account statements.

Due to the poor experiences with the two previous priorities, it may take some time before we test this final priority.

CONCLUSION:
The fact that there are such important functions in GetInvoice that do not work and/or still appear to be underdeveloped is both a disappointing surprise and a major letdown.

The product does not seem to be fully developed and ready for sale on the market for additional services for accounting programs.

There are currently about 30+ other Apps and services that offer similar functions and functionalities. We ourselves use several, including SparkReceipt and WellyBox, as well as a similar functionality in our own accounting system.

The idea behind purchasing the GetInvoice LTD user license was to replace the first two services mentioned by upgrading GetInvoice to a higher Tier from Tier 2, which I currently have.

However, with GetInvoice as it currently functions (or rather does not function), it appears that GetInvoice is not fully developed in relation to what is presented here and on their website.

Therefore, my intended upgrade and use will unfortunately not be relevant.

Instead, I hope that you will soon address and complete the features described in GetInvoice, and I wish you the best of luck with that in the future.

Outstanding Product and Support!

Just started using GetInvoice, and my first impressions are fantastic—everything works exactly as expected! The interface is intuitive, setup was straightforward, and the platform delivers precisely what it promises.

Saves a lot of time and sweetens my accounting work a bit

I am very happy about this deal.
For an accountant like me, this app is the perfect solution.
I buy a lot from Amazon, for example, and this program pulls out all the invoices from Amazon. I don't have to click on anything and then download things individually.
I just have to watch as the invoices are automatically saved.
Also, the ability to connect Google and IMAP accounts, for example, has helped me a lot.
I had a few questions for the support team, and they answered them quickly and competently. The longest response time was once the next day.
I have never bought a tier higher than I need. The Tier 2 license would easily be enough for me.
I bought the Tier 3 license to promote this great idea and its implementation. Thanks to Miki and his team for making my bookkeeping a little bit more fun. I therefore wish you every success with all my heart.

Buggy with slow support

Considering returning this product. Its core feature which is the portal service consistently crashes. I was told by support that this is by design. I was also told that it typically takes 10 seconds to scan a page but the page crashes 3 seconds into using the portal. It looks like the support ‘team’ is a one man band and he takes 24h to respond. Not impressed with the product so far. It feels like a beta product I’m not sure if it’s ready for release. Waiting on a response from support. Let’s see what happens.
