Q: Credits vs Tokens
How does 250 credits compare to the actual tokens required? what is the token number equivalent to 1 credit? I know I can easily go through thousands of token just for small apps. How does 250 credits translate into tokens required by the AI coder assistant? thank you. In other terms, would 250 credits be enough to build a couple full stack apps with few iterations in each one? Thanks

Jul 3, 2025A: We've intentionally moved away from token complexity to make Greta super simple and approachable—no need to worry about exact token counts. We'll definitely add token analytics later for transparency.
Right now, it's simple:
30 credits to start a new project.
10 credits per iteration or edit.
With 250 credits, you can comfortably build and refine one or two solid full-stack apps—depending on complexity and how clearly you prompt Greta. Hope that clears it up!

How many can you make? it depends on your prompting ability, the complexity of the project, and how picky you are.
You can spend thousands on a single project or as little as 50 for small projects with in-depth prompts.
I made a weather app in all of 3 prompts(50 credits total).

Thanks Jake, very helpful. I’ve used some others in the vibe coding space, you make an iteration, it tells you that it has done what you’ve asked but it didn’t really, just bluffing !! My question is, would it still charge you those 10 credits for that unsuccessful iteration? Thank you
JakeVanPLUSIt charges you and then it seems to refund some the next day. Its quite odd tbh.
If I kept better track I would probably understand exactly what it is doing but I am assuming its refunding the errors. It does charge you initially however.
