Q: Please answer the questions on Trust & Clarify with this deal
I'm interested in purchasing this deal, but I've seen instances where previous AppSumo lifetime deals have had their terms or features changed after purchase—sometimes leaving LTD buyers with fewer benefits than new subscription customers.
Could you clarify:
1. What steps will you take to ensure that lifetime deal purchasers receive all the features and updates promised at the time of purchase, even if plan names or structures change in the future?
2.What protections are in place to prevent any retroactive changes that could reduce or restrict the benefits for LTD users compared to new subscribers?
3. Will you provide a public statement here explaining how AppSumo enforces lifetime deal terms with you so we are all clear?
I'm also not a newbie, but this is where we are with Appsumo.

Jul 16, 2025A: Great questions, let me answer them really quickly.
1. We dont anticipate on changing plan structures but even if they do we will be diligent of making sure that we can take care of the promises that we have made here. In fact, we have many more features that we havent even promised that will be available to everyone.
2. We do not anticipate any differences LTD vs new subscribers, for us all the users are the same and we wont be restricting things. It will be restricted on the basis of plans that people have bought thats it.
3. Not sure I fully understand this question but If you are asking me to disclose the terms that we signed with AppSumo, unfortunately I can't do that. You can try emailing them asking for more info but its not in my control. Apologies for that.
You concerns seems to be more like with AppSumo than Greta itself, so I would also recommend talking with an AppSumo expert as well who can explain you more about how all of it works.
From our side, we are here to get early believers with whom we can build the best product and we are glad that we are able to find such people. Our goal would be to do as best as possible for early believers, not differentiating them with new subscribers :)
1.So the plan bought is not the plan bought. You can do whatever you want.
For example "lf tiers map to the "Pro" plan on your website" you could actually in the future " Map us to a free tier" and no-one could do anything?
2. But you do have flexibility with Appsumo sales team to change this in the future. Right. Change plan terms? Yes/No
Appsumo seems to be able to change the rule of a deal and I'm not sure how or why. Trying to get to the bottom of the issues. Those terms are at issue right now for me.
It seems some companies can change terms and refuse feature updates.Basically downgrade plans and Appsumo haven't responded and company refuses to have a dialog about the issue. Bad for everyone except Appsumo it seems.
Do you Include feature parity and is it in the Appsumo Contract.
