Q: Support Chat Delays, is There a Better Way to Get Help?
Hi, I'm wondering what the best way is to get faster support and have issues resolved. I’ve been using the chat, expecting a quick response, but it doesn’t seem to be consistently monitored.
When I do get a response, it takes ages to receive even a single reply, let alone complete the conversation.
I understand that complex issues may take more time to resolve, but without any response, I can’t tell whether my issue is simple or complicated.
Is there a better channel or process I should be using to get quicker support instead of chat?
Can you tell me your first name so I can double-check the support queue? Note that we are based in the UK, and our support team typically operates between 9 a.m. and about 8 p.m. during the week, UK time. Around those times, you will usually get a reply within one to two hours. However, if you send messages outside of those hours, you will need to wait until the next morning.
Thanks, Ben. I'd rather not reveal my real name, as this is a public forum and could increase the risk to my public profile. However, I can say that I’m currently chatting with Jerica about a custom domain issue.
I understand that the live chat isn’t intended for support cases, that’s why I was asking whether there are other channels I should be using to submit my support issues.
The way you've submitted your support ticket is the best way to get support. We aim to get back within roughly 2hrs during UK office hours but it does depend on how busy the queue is.
Q: Follow-Up on Microsoft Teams Integration Timeline
Following up on my earlier question here: https://appsumo.com/products/heysummit/questions/microsoft-teams-integration-1360916/
It’s been over a month since I posted that, and I wanted to check whether there’s now a clearer timeline for when Microsoft Teams integration will be available.
A lot of my event planning hinges on this, and with the 60-day refund window coming up soon, having even a rough ETA would be really helpful for deciding how to proceed.
A: Hey @esty, thanks so much for the question. I appreciate where you're coming from.
The issue we have is that, from our end, we've had probably 30 or 40 integration requests over the last few weeks and as such, it's very difficult for us to provide dates around when any of these will be delivered. That being said, we've already delivered 10 a couple of weeks ago, and we aim to roll new...
Q: Can we make advanced ticketing as part of the deal?
Hi, I strongly encourage you to include advanced ticketing as part of this deal. HeySummit is a very powerful platform, but the current deal on AppSumo limits its capabilities to either strictly free or strictly paid events.
Our use case requires the flexibility to offer various talks for free and, based on the sessions participants attend, determine their eligibility for additional paid events. Currently, this level of complexity isn’t supported, even with the maximum number of codes stacked.
Could you please consider making the advanced ticketing feature available as part of the current AppSumo deal? I’d be happy to stack more than 5 codes if that would help unlock this functionality.
A: Hey @esty, I'm really sorry, but advanced ticketing is not planned to be part of the AppSumo deal.
Our goal with the AppSumo deal is to be as generous as possible and create an amazing deal. However, for obvious reasons, we can't offer everything from the very top plan, and so practically speaking we do need to draw a line somewhere.
We will be making a super discounted version of the Success...
How soon can you make the super discounted version of the Success Plan available while the deal is still on? It would really help. At this point, there’s no viable way to enable advanced ticketing without upgrading to the full plan. I’ve already lost several days trying to find a workaround, but nothing has worked.
Thanks Ben, appreciate the update. When will this deal end?
I’m keen to get at least a rough date estimate, as I need to plan my on-going event series. Right now, I’ve had to put things on hold until I can target specific talks with the right add-ons and tickets.
My pleasure. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I think it will either be at the end of this month or the very first week of July, essentially within two to three weeks.
Ah, 2–3 weeks isn’t too bad. My event cycle runs every 2 weeks, so I can launch the first one without the advanced ticketing, as long as I can upgrade with the Add-On before launching the second event.
Thanks, I look forward to it!
Q: Question about full success plan
Hi Ben, I saw your previous comment as follows: For context, it will probably be in the $10–$15 per month range to access the full Success Plan, which is currently selling for $79 per month (though that price is likely going up soon).
How do I activate this? And What does this entail?
A: Hey, thanks for reaching out. This is not something that is currently available, as we haven't launched the offer yet. However, we plan to do so in the next few weeks. Once we do, we will send an email to all AppSumo customers :)
A: Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Yes, I'm afraid the "restrict to one attendee" feature is part of the advanced ticketing capabilities, which is limited to the Success Plan.

Q: “Restrict to One Per Attendee” Option Grayed Out
Hi, I noticed that the “Restrict to One Per Attendee” option in the ticket settings is greyed out. Could you please let me know why that is?
Is this yet another feature that requires an upgrade to the Success Plan?
