Q: Alternative payment methods
Hello HeySummit team, I hope you're well. Please help me with the following questions:
- Is it possible to set up bank transfer payments to receive payments in my local currency? (I can't find how to do this, but I think I read that it's possible.)
- Could you consider setting up MercadoPago for Latin American users? It's a widely used payment method in Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, etc.
Please consider adding an alternative payment method to PayPal and Stripe, as many countries aren't listed for receiving payments locally.

We are currently working on a RazorPay integration as an alternative payment method. I appreciate this isn't the one you're requesting here, but I wanted to let you know that we are in the process of building out an additional payment method. Once that's done, we'll look to see whether there are any others we can add that fit our technological requirements.
I haven't looked at MercadoPago yet, but I'll make a note to review it once we've released RazorPay to see whether it's technically possible. In terms of bank transfers, that would have to be handled through the payment integration itself. We wouldn't be able to do that directly ourselves, so I'm not sure whether MercadoPago facilitates that or not. We'll look at MercadoPago later to see whether it's something we can add in the future. It won't be in the short term, but hopefully in the medium term, we'll be able to add support for it if possible.
