Q: Am I only able to use Zapier or more specifically Make.com, etc if I have Tier 6 and the Full API?

Actually, Zapier is available on all plans and all of our AppSumo tiers, so you can send data out of HeySummit via Zapier into other platforms. Note though, that we don't currently support Zapier hooks 'into' your HeySummit event.
The API is a completely different use case, where you would want a developer or someone from your team to build an integration on your end that will register attendees for your event or get a list of talks or events, that sort of thing.

We don't have support for Make.com at this time, although we have had one or two people ask about it, so it's something we'll consider for a future update. We're currently focused on creating specific integrations, such as with CRM platforms or video platforms etc.
Understood, that might explain things for me. There is currently a Make integration, but since it's not native, I'm guessing it uses the API to work. Appreciate your responses! I think I should be able to manage with Zapier.
Yeah, it is a little bit annoying. We don't have an official integration with Make, but they seem to create them for various partners without their permission. We have no idea whether it works or not, so I would probably recommend Zapier to be on the safe side.
