A few questions for the team.
Right now in order to live stream you need BigMarker or Zoom. The pricing for those two are fairly expensive per month for a small business like mines. (BigMarker $80/monthly & Zoom $340/monthly plus pro plan fees) Hard to make that investment without knowing they'll be enough attendees and summits to offset the cost.
What other streaming host are in the works? Any plans to integrate with an appsumo lifetime deal partner. That would allow for a larger investment on the front end.
I think I know the answer to the following question but it would be helpful to everyone else. Can you simply use HeySummit without the live stream integration to start off? Using pre-recorded webinars and ramp up from there.

Yep so firstly - you can absolutely setup a summit and never use Zoom or BigMarker. Those are only required if you want to live stream the talks.
In terms of the cost of running a summit, that's a fair point. That being said though, those Zoom or BigMarker costs are only needed for the month you're running the summit. Before and after that, your LTD HeySummit plan will continue to operate and act as a marketing magnet for all of the replay videos you create through the summit.
In terms of integrations, we're unable to announce specifics at this stage, but we are working hard to bring many more in the future.
leeroynzPLUSI suppose you would also want to weigh up using a well established platform (zoom and bigmarker) for live versus a newer cheaper platform that might have more problems. The monthly cost is nothing compared to loss in sales and reputation if the platform fails and platform staff are not able to assist in a timely manner.
