Q: Does this tool actually run the webinar/event with video and chat?
Does this tool actually run the webinar/event with video and chat or do I NEED a tool like Zoom for this? I saw the replay on a neat layout of the video and a chatbox on the right hence my question.

The short answer is that yes, you do need to connect your preferred broadcast integration so that HeySummit can broadcast and deliver the talks within your event to your attendees. However, we do it in a seamless way.
The replay that you watched used that exact model. The live stream and later the replay came directly from StreamYard. The chat, Q&A, and polling capabilities on the right are our own proprietary interactive components. HeySummit brings all of those together, irrespective of the broadcast integration you choose to pair with your HeySummit event.
