Q: On-demand, ongoing access possible?
Hi,
Is it possible to set up an evergreen event that allows ongoing, on-demand access, vs. scheduled 'repeating' events?
I see we can set up a talk to repeat at various frequency schedules (ex: every Monday at 9a), but what if we want certain groups of attendees to have ongoing, immediate, anytime access?
Say the live event is free for a week, but if people buy the VIP pass, we want to give them immediate, ongoing, on-demand access to the talks. How can we do that?
I see the "Next Day Delay" option (i.e. # of hours before HS 'turns it off' and restarts the talk, according to the schedule we choose). That might work,...but for something like this, I'd have to calculate 24 hours x 365 days x 10 years or something, which seems not quite right.
I feel like I might be missing how it works.
Thanks!

May 18, 2025A: Hey, thanks for reaching out with your question. After reading it, I am wondering whether the auto-repeat or evergreen capability is what you need in this scenario.
If all you need is for your attendees to access content on demand, then that is the default behaviour for all talks within a HeySummit event (i.e. no auto repeating / evergreen functionality needed). That is to say, once you have added the replay (on-demand) video to a talk within your event, that replay is now available to any registered attendee who has the right ticket, allowing them to watch it on-demand at a time of their choosing.
It sounds like that is all you actually need. You just want attendees to be able to turn up, register or pay for a ticket, and then instantly gain access to that on-demand content. If that's the case, you can simply set it up as a standard replay-based talk, and that should be all you need.
If I've missed any details of your use case or what you're trying to achieve, just let me know, and I'd be happy to provide further recommendations.
All the best - thanks!
