Q: Webinar stream included?
Hi
Could you please clarify if HeySummit includes the webinar feature, or if I need to subscribe to webinar providers like Zoom or Zoho?

Jun 6, 2025A: Hi Ahmad,
Thanks for reaching out. HeySummit does require you to connect the broadcast provider that you want to use to either broadcast the live stream, webinar, or pre-recorded video for your talks within your event.
We support a wide range of integrations, ranging from Zoom to StreamYard and several others. You can check out the full list at https://heysummit.com/integrations/video-and-streaming.
Please note that we are in the process of building our own streaming studio, so you will truly have the choice of using a third-party tool or our own. However, this won't be available until later in the year, and we're still working out pricing, as this will most likely be a separate product due to the difference in how bandwidth is handled compared to our core event product.
Hope this helps clarify. Just let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
Thank you, Ben. Any idea if this will be available for AppSumo plans? Or like if there is a plan to add it as a paid add-on?
Some extra questions, please:
-The limit for attendees, like T1 1500, is it lifetime or concurrent, or...?
-Is the number of team members the same as the number of event speakers?
-Can I run free events on it?
Never say never, but we currently don't have any plans to bring the streaming product to AppSumo. You never know, though.
We've still got quite a bit to work out in terms of the mechanics and business model behind it so much is still being worked out. It will though, almost certainly be an add-on for all existing plans (as well as a standalone product for those that just need that).
Regarding your other questions, the limit of attendees is lifetime but only counts against active events. If you archive an event, unpublish it, or turn registrations off for an existing event, then we no longer count attendees against those events.
Regarding team members and speakers, these are two separate things. Team members are people you invite to your team to help you set up and potentially run the event, and there is a limit to how many you can invite. In contrast, there is no limit on speakers. You can invite as many speakers to an event or events as you need.
Finally, regarding free events, absolutely. With HeySummit, the platform is agnostic about the format and nature of an event. This means you can run it as a single workshop, a single-day event, a multi-day event, a video series, a course, etc. You can also decide whether it's free, paid, a combination, with add-ons, donations, or sponsors. That's completely up to you.
