Thanks for the question. I'm sorry the transaction fees have frustrated you. This is quite common practise in platforms where payment processing is a core part of the flow. Note that we only charge transaction fees for paid tickets or add-ons processed through the platform. Obviously if it's a free event there won't be any transaction fees at all. Since running this AppSumo deal we actually reduced the transaction fees quite considerably. In fact, if you go for the T5 plan, you end up getting a transaction fee that's lower than the very top plan on our public pricing page.
