What I needed, but there is a but...
because I have found a major Django REST API leak where you can see all adresses and API keys of all their clients. I have reported the bug as very urgent and told the Jamy team to call me so that it can be fixed. Well, 10 days are passed since. So, the idea that I can download all meeting notes from all their clients - and that everyone can download our company meeting notes is troublesome at least. Sadly, we cannot use this software for this reason and for the lack of fixing those major exploits.
Function-wise it is exactly what I needed. It picks up every conversation even with technical details in our field. Video feature is great. Sharing is great... So sorry to see a good software not work out.

Impressed so far
I recently purchased the licence for Jamy. It was easy-enough to set up; I also liked that I was able to change the name and introductory message for the AI guest.
I also like that it can automatically send out tasks after the meeting (although for now I prefer to have the option of double-checking before the task emails are sent).
All-in-all I'm happy with the purchase. I even upgraded the tier.
Thanks Jamy

Not optimized for candidate interviews
As a recruiter, I was looking for a product that would deliver a good interview summary. Jamy is not there and not even close. It's OK at transcribing but still left me with editing and composing a summary of the interview. Honestly the Jamy process took more time than it did to manually take notes then edit them. I wanted to try a template, but Jamy doesn't make them available without buying one of the top tiers.
I am in final testing with a competing product that, while costing much more, produces an actual summary of the interview that can be used after 5-10 minutes of editing.
Jamy is not ready to use as a tool for interviewing at this time and has a long way to go in understanding the needs of recruiting professionals. After a week of testing with other products, I received a refund.

May 12, 2025To adapt Jamy to custom use cases you need to use Custom Report Templates. The fair comparison with competing products is comparing the actual interview-adapted version, which custom reports templates enable.

It's great but fails in a few big ways
I bought this to replace Fathom AI, but I found that when having calls being recorded, the most important part is for the calls to actually be recorded NO MATTER WHAT.
And Fathom never fails, ever.
Jamy did awesome but failed to record some calls. why? Not sure, as it was working fine at times
BUT some calls went unrecorded, I can't risk calls not being recorded.
The features and products are awesome, but I can't risk losing the recordings. Keep in mind that I also use Fathom's free version.
Great, but had to refund

A company that listens!
I don’t give 5-taco reviews easily, but Jamy deserves it.
Before purchasing the product, I gave feedback that the pricing plan didn’t seem realistic compared to market competition. Within 24 hours, the company responded and updated the deal. I’m sure it wasn’t just because of me, but it was already a great sign that this is a company that listens to feedback — impressive.
I did encounter a few hiccups with webhooks and the API in the first couple of days — but all of them were addressed quickly by a super responsive support and development team.
The transcription quality is very good. While there are some differences in how Jamy understands tasks compared to, say, Fathom, I wouldn’t say they’re unreasonable. (For example, both Fathom and Jamy highlighted “action items” for tasks completed during a call — but they identified different ones.)
The only thing I find less favorable is the pricing jump between T2 and T4 just to get the “chat with transcript” feature. I would consider T3 (not because I need more users, but just to get the chat feature), but I can’t justify the cost difference for something that isn’t essential. The pricing gap adds up to several years’ worth of using other tools already on the market — so financially, it doesn’t make sense.
That said, this review is about the product, not the deal terms, so I’m still giving it 5 tacos.
