Q: Traffic behavior when clicking generated links in Instagram bio
If I have a generated link through your platform where I have set up a bio, similar to Linktree: Does the traffic stay within the Instagram browser when I click a button there, or does it open an external browser, for example Safari on an iPhone?

Jul 8, 2025A: Hi — when you add a JoyQR bio link to your Instagram profile, it usually opens in Instagram’s built-in browser, not Safari or Chrome.
That’s totally normal and something Instagram controls. If someone wants to open it in their full browser, they can tap the three dots and choose “Open in browser.”
We can't override this behaviour :(

Nice.TradePLUSThat is not entirely correct; there are several providers that offer this feature, and I am already actively using them. I hope it is not prohibited now, but for example, https://stealthcreator.com/ can do it. I also really like their range of functions when it comes to the QR code. I think I will simply test their tool; maybe it will be a motivation for them to improve their tool.
