FEEDBACK & BUG REPORT - Lifetime Tier 1 (Pro Plan)

I wanted to give the team a chance; the project is interesting, and in my tests, I saw that it works reasonably well. However, I found some bugs that I'm listing to help the developers (sorry, professional deformation :D).

‼️ Plan Limitations Considerations: ‼️
The file size limits are specified in the plan; however, they are extremely limiting:

MOV files: 100MB limit
MP4 files: 200MB limit for 5 minutes

Doing the math: 5 minutes with a 200MB limit is only achievable with significant quality limitations! With ~5.4 Mbps available for video (subtracting audio), you're just at the limit for decent 1080p, while an iPhone 14 Pro Max records natively at much higher bitrates (often 10+ Mbps). This always forces me to pre-process videos, resulting in significant quality and time loss.

A 1-minute and 18-second video recorded with my iPhone 14 Pro Max required three attempts to be accepted by the system, slowing down work instead of speeding it up. I believe that increasing the limits should be a priority for the service's success.

Suggestion: It would be beneficial if the system supported larger video files and could automatically convert them to the optimal format for processing. This would make the workflow highly immediate for everyone.

Identified Bugs:

- Subtitle overlapping (https://filedn.com/la137UftGkFSFUKPuOUTaU8/BUG_subtitles_overlapping.mov)
Subtitles overlap in both preview mode and the final export. The problem doesn't occur with all available styles, but it's present specifically with the style I prefer to use, compromising content readability.

- Wrong selection in subtitle editing module (https://filedn.com/la137UftGkFSFUKPuOUTaU8/BUG_subtitles_wrong.mov)
During subtitle editing, clicking on a specific word highlights a different word, or no word is highlighted. This anomalous behaviour causes me problems in audio-subtitle synchronisation.
Wrong emoji positioning (https://filedn.com/la137UftGkFSFUKPuOUTaU8/BUG_emojis.png)
Emojis are positioned below subtitles instead of automatically adapting to the text. They should be dynamically repositioned (to upper levels or alternative positions) to avoid overlapping.

- Preview not updating on existing projects.
When reopening an old exported video, any changes made to settings are not reflected in the preview. The problem doesn't always occur, but it happens with some frequency. A page refresh solves it.

- Audiogram feature removal
The Audiogram function, which I saw in some demo videos, has been removed. Considering how much this feature is appreciated and requested by users, I believe it should be restored with priority.

Suggested Features:
- Auto-trim silent parts: Automatic removal of audio segments without content
- Dynamic zoom: Ability to automatically or manually zoom in on the main video on specific words
- Mobile compatibility: Make the application usable directly from smartphones
- Complete subtitle customisation: Greater control over all formatting and style aspects

Final Considerations:
Currently, the software has some file size limitations that are somewhat frustrating for producing high-quality content. Because of this, I’m finding it challenging to speed up my workflow like I had hoped! The lack of the Audiogram function (which I would have used extensively) and limited customisations (even when interacting with the AI, I couldn't get what I wanted, but it's in beta, and I don't allow myself to judge it yet) represent significant limitations for my usage.
For now, I won't request a refund, hoping that the situation will change soon. However, if the file limits are not increased, I will be forced to do so.

Despite these criticisms, I believe in the potential of this project and I'm rooting for the team's success. The core concept is solid, and with the right adjustments, this could become an excellent tool for content creators. Keep up the good work! 🚀

Really appreciate you taking the time to write all this — it’s clear you’ve tested the product in-depth and care about where it’s headed.

We’re already working on many of the things you mentioned:

- Increasing file size limits
- Fixes for subtitle overlap, emoji positioning, and preview syncing
- And exploring new ideas like silent auto-trim, dynamic zoom, and better mobile access

Totally hear you on the current friction points — especially around video uploads and quality. They’re high on our list, and we know they’re important for creators like you.

Thanks again for the honest feedback and for rooting for us. It means a lot.
