Q: Comparison with Kahoot
Greetings, I have a few questions for you:
1) How do you compare with Kahoot? Have you made a feature comparison somewhere?
2) Is it possible to turn the betting aspect on and off? I think this may confuse some of our users
3) Is there a 'Presenter' view like in Kahoot where you can do a quiz session live and everyone in the room gets to see their results on the big screen/how they are doing against other players?
4) Can we set up a custom domain name eg 'team.mydomain.com'
5) Any plans to make a mobile app?

Apr 1, 2025A: Thanks for the great questions — happy to walk you through them:
1. Kahoot Comparison: We haven’t published a formal comparison yet, but Kvistly focuses on a different experience. We’re a quiz game with a strong focus on user-friendly design and speed — you can create a quiz in under a minute with the help of AI. Also, unlike Kahoot where speed wins, in Kvistly it’s all about knowledge and strategy: the winner is the one with the highest points, not the fastest answer. Plus we provide detailed analytics on game performance
2. Betting Feature: The betting phase is a core part of our gameplay and our unique innovation. It drives engagement by encouraging players to think before they answer — and adds a fun, strategic twist. It can’t be turned off at this stage, as it’s a key differentiator.
3. Presenter Mode: Yes! You can launch quizzes live with a Presenter view. Players join with a code, and you can display a dynamic leaderboard in real-time. It’s accessible directly from the game dashboard.
4. Custom Domain: This is available under our Enterprise Plan. If you’re interested in setting it up (e.g., team.yourdomain.com), just reach out to our sales team directly.
5. Mobile App: We currently don’t plan to launch a mobile app, as Kvistly is fully mobile-friendly and works great in browsers. Our goal is to eliminate the need for users to download anything.
