Q: I don't understand how you are alternatives to mentimeter and kahoot
I saw that you have a leaderboard, but I don't understand how you are alternatives to mentimeter and kahhoot? I mean:
do you have a word cloud that can also be commented and voted on?
Is it possible to brainstorm with your software?
Is it possible to associate images with the answers with your software?
Is it possible to embed the quiz?
Is it possible to hypothesize a public leaderboard in embed always available?
Is it possible to have questions that appear randomly and not in chronological order?
Do you have roadmap?
Best regards

May 12, 2025A: Thanks for your detailed questions — and I completely understand where you’re coming from.
Kahoot and Mentimeter have been around for over a decade, and naturally, they offer a broader set of features. Kvistly is still young (about a year old), but we’re focused on creating engaging, fun, and dynamic learning experiences, with our own unique mechanics.
To clarify:
• We don’t currently offer word clouds, comment voting, or brainstorming tools — our focus for now is on interactive quizzes.
• You can add images to questions, but not to answers (yet).
• Our core format is a quiz with a betting mechanic, where players bet on their confidence level — this is our unique twist to increase engagement.
• Embedding quizzes and a public leaderboard aren’t available right now.
• Questions follow a set order — you can randomise it by clicking "Reorder" button in the quiz editor
• And yes — we do have a product roadmap, and we’re actively working on adding more quiz types and game formats very soon.
We’re growing fast, and community feedback like yours helps us prioritize what to build next. Thanks for checking out Kvistly!
