Great to increase publishing velocity
When I first saw KWHero come into AS, I immediately closed out. Why? I've already picked up a few keyword research and optimization tools. BIQ Cloud, WriterZen, MarketMuse, Frase, NeuronWriter. With the exception of BiQ Cloud (which turned out to be a waste), I have been using these other tools regularly to create content. Notwithstanding, I was pulled back to KWhero. The product was built by people who do SEO, so I assumed there was one or more gaps they were trying to fill. I looked at the home page, and I appreciated their case studies and transparency. I browsed through a ton of the questions and reviews, and see that most people are comparing to NW, which is fair. I attended a webinar the KWHero team held earlier today, and decided to purchase KWHero myself and test it out. At this time, KWHero offers 2 main components, keyword research, and content creation/optimization. Because I have writerzen, I haven't really played with the keyword research area. They admit that it isn't as robust as other tools, but they really want to improve that. For me, the real use is in the content creation. Create a content plan for a chosen keyword, run the analysis, select competitors, and then KWHero creates an outline for you based on the SERPs. So far, pretty much exactly the workflow in NW. The next step is where KWHero shines. When you use the AI to generate the article, it creates an article that is practically fully optimized out of the box. The KWHero team appears to have done some heavy lifting with prompting in the back end. I used it to autogenerate an article, copied and pasted into Frase, and the score was 80! For me, if I can pump out great first drafts like this, and then just spend my time editing, that is amazing. The AI writers in the other tools I mentioned just don't produce content like this automatically. Frase is probably closest, but that requires custom instructions for each heading. The other tools may catch up in due time, but for the moment, KW Hero is a delightful surprise. I hope the team continues to hone the prompts and create templates. If you are good with AI prompting, and have one of those other tools, this is probably overkill. But if you aren't comfortable or confident with prompt generation, and want to speed up your publishing velocity, KWHero is definitely something to consider. At tier 5, you get an estimated 13 or so articles each month (without using your own OpenAI key), which is probably more than many people are publishing at the moment.
