Q: Hide number of participants?

Is the number of participants exposed to anyone? I would prefer to hide the number to regular participants.

A: Hey medias,

At the moment, as a user who has joined the meeting, you will be able to see the number and the other participants who are currently in the meeting room in the form of a list in the 'Participants' section of the meeting.

If you choose to schedule the meeting and invite other participants through email, the invited participants are currently shown as a list for all invited to see when they received the invitation email. We understand from some user feedback that this doesn't currently align with GDPR so we are in the process of adding an option that allows the host to decide whether the invited participants list is visible in the invitation email.

Just to clarify so we get a better understanding of your concerns, what use case did you have in mind where you wanted to hide the number of regular participants? And by hiding the number of regular participants, did you wish to hide them during the meeting or simply in the invitation email?

Let me know if there's anything else I can help clarify and appreciate the interest :)

Currently I am not an active user of Kyzon.
I just want to evaluate if it is the right fit for me. I didn't even know that a whole participant list is sent through email, which for me as a European user is a no-go. The number of participants (and their identity) should be hidden because I do not want to expose the number of students in the running webinar. This information should not be public.

Hey medias,

Completely understand. We try to answer questions assuming the asker has no prior knowledge of our platforms :)

Based on your requirements for your webinar, we don't think KYZON Space would be the best fit for your needs. While we have plans on allow hiding of the participants list in the email, we do not have plans of hiding the number of participants during the meeting itself.

Because our platforms are designed for meetings - internal or external and remote classroom style education, being able to see attendance has been a key requirement for quite a few of our users.

We appreciate your interest and hope you find a webinar platform that better fits your needs :)
