Disappointed by Limits, Minimal Upgrades, and Lack of Transparency

I purchased the Tier 4 lifetime deal expecting it to fully match the Professional plan as advertised. However, the learner limit is capped at 300 users per group, which is far below the 1500 learners shown on Learniverse’s website for their Professional plan. This is a major difference that impacts usability significantly.

The upgrade from Tier 3 to Tier 4 feels minimal. Both tiers have a module limit capped at 5 per course. While Tier 4 increases the number of active courses (from 20 to unlimited), learning groups (from 3 to 10), and AI credits (from 300 to 500 per month), these changes don’t justify the higher tier price in my opinion.

What’s more frustrating is that upgrade options and pricing aren’t clearly listed anywhere. Instead, users are publicly advised to email the developer privately to discuss flexible plans. This lack of transparency feels like an indirect way to push subscription plans onto lifetime deal users.

I’ve also noticed a lack of genuine interest from the developer in listening to community feedback or making changes to better support early backers. This solidifies my impression that the plan all along was to eventually push lifetime users toward a subscription model.

Learniverse shows promise and has a clean interface, but at this stage, it doesn’t deliver what was promised. If you’re expecting full feature parity with the Professional plan, I’d be cautious before committing.

Hi Madbakerie -- sorry you didn't have the best experience with Learniverse.

It is always in my priority to provide as much value as possible for the best deal. Of course -- I am a developer and work hard on this app -- it needs to be financially sustainable. That's why it is only natural that I encourage lifetime users to upgrade to monthly subscription that supports us 10x more and also increases the limits significantly.

One thing to note, is that although limits are higher on the Subscription side. Feature wise it is 100% the EXACT SAME as lifetime. And it will stay that way.

Also it is really disingenuous to mention that I do not have an interest in listening to community feedback while I have been pushing over 15 UPDATES in the last few months specifically around community requested features. I ALSO have an active Discord where I listen and respond to every user and even have a board for community features.

I can also see that you barely finished the onboarding and did not even create a course -- wrote your review then refunded. And yet you allow yourself to review the app and my work so harshly.

Hope you can join Learniverse again in the future -- will be more than happy to listen to your actionable feedback then.
