Q: PRIVACY CONCERNS
Hi, seems to be a great app but I'm concerned about privacy as your privacy policies on your website isn't convincing at all. Its basically stated that you share personal data with third party agents for marketing purposes and everything else you can think about. You are using google analytics that are known to harvest as much data as possible, whenever possible. There is going to be a lot of private information as well as sensitive business information recorded. Why is nothing mentioned about privacy protection here for an app of this character? Many other apps guarantee that the data is yours and will not be shared with anybody, that would really be important to hear from you for a tool like this.

Actually, we don’t share your data with anyone. What you read about marketing activities refers to something else entirely: when you launch the app, you may see a consent banner asking if you agree to share some basic usage data with third parties. But this doesn’t include the content of your notes or any personal data — it simply means that, for example, if you came from Facebook, we’ll know that you came from Facebook. That’s all.
We’re very careful about privacy. We only collect data with your consent, ask permission to track for personalized advertising on first launch, and follow modern security standards. All your notes are stored encrypted, and the encryption keys are kept in a separate secure repository. Developers do not have direct access to them — using the keys requires a special multi-step validation process, which keeps your data fully protected.
We also store data on secure, verified servers in Europe, and if you delete your notes, transcripts, or recordings, they are removed from both your device and the cloud. Upon request, we can delete all your data from all locations within 72 hours (often faster).
So yes — we take privacy very seriously and actually comply with data protection requirements better than many companies that simply have perfect legal documents but don’t respect users in practice.
