Q: Clarification on company details
I really like your concept. However, I am curious about who you are. Your website does not provide any information about the company, address, or the team behind it. There is no clear privacy policy, no option to opt out of consent, and the terms and conditions are not clearly stated. You mention that this is a blog about WordPress topics with guest posts containing affiliate links, but you don’t disclose that you are also a plugin developer selling plugins.
Would you consider being more transparent about these details? I prefer not to purchase from an anonymous developer or company.

Jul 13, 2025A: Hey Mrio, thanks so much for your thoughtful and very valid questions. I appreciate you taking the time to share them :) My name is Jordy, and I'm a freelance WordPress developer based in the Netherlands. I have over 10 years experience in the WordPress ecosystem as a web developer for small- and medium sized businesses. The Design for WP site originally started as a blog with contributions from myself and a few others, mainly covering WordPress tips and tutorials. Over the past year, I’ve shifted the focus from blogging toward developing high-quality WordPress plugins, and LinkCentral is the main one.
At the moment, I’m the sole developer behind LinkCentral. I occasionally get help with customer support and content, which is why I sometimes use "we" when referring to the brand. But ultimately, I’m the main point of contact and responsible for the product.
You're absolutely right about the missing details on the website. I'm currently in the process of updating the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and About pages to better reflect this shift (eg we don't have any guests posts) and to meet expectations around transparency. I aim to have those updated later this month.
Regarding consent and tracking: if you're referring to the corporate website, it only uses one anonymized cookie via Google Analytics (as mentioned in the Privacy Policy), and there are no third-party trackers or marketing pixels. That said, I’ll review the opt-out information again to make sure it’s clearer and fully GDPR-proof.
Again, super valid questions and I hope this gives you more confidence in who’s behind the product. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please let me know!

Mrio, to ease your concern, I purchased the Plan 2 and have since communicted with Jordy on a few occassions. He is timely with his responses and listens to the users. I requested a few features and he reached out to me to get more clarification and has since added them to the roadmap. That is to say, I fully trust Jordy and in fact, I'm about to upgrade my license. Hope this helps...
Thanks both for your comments! In the meantime, I’ve updated the corporate website. The Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions now include all required information. I’ve also updated the business details on the contact page, including our company name, Corporate ID/Chamber of Commerce number, phone number, and email address. Hope this provides the transparency you were looking for!
