Not enough for data analytics or even semiprofessional usecases
Hi just a short description from my usecase. I develop sites for clients and help them to reach their online goals in many ways. So i have a professional view on datacollection and data analytic. Litlyx has a fance and nice interface in dark mode. Great! It showes its really limited basic data in an nice design. But to compare it woth Google Analytics or Matomo is lile David compared with Goliath. Litlyx showes only very basic data that might be enough to get an idea of user dropped on the website and what pages are mostly visited (just to mention two main cases). But it does not help a lot in understanding why users bounce, what path they took and so on. To me (highest tier) it is a nogo to have an upsell for exporting the data as csv file. Thats so much basic that i never thought it could be an upsell for a startup product. As well the AI capabilities are very limited as it just spids out what a simpe free chatGPT question will tell you as well for free. 10 AI Questions a month is the limit. So this is not usable for professional data analysis or usecases. I will refund it as Matomo has the a much better functionality but for free even litlyx has the much better interface. So if you are interested in some basic information about your Wordpress pages it might be enough. Good luck!

Good alternative to Google Analytics
Clean dashboard, easy to navigate, and I love that it's open-source and privacy-focused. I'm glad I made the purchase and would be happy to recommend Litlyx to others.
However, some knowledge of installing scripts or snippets is required, especially if you want to get the most out of the platform. For example, you'll probably want to implement Custom Events, as well as a way to prevent Litlyx from tracking your own activity on your site.

We are improving our product every day, and we understand that, at the moment, setting up custom events can feel overwhelming for someone without a technical background. However, I promise we are working to make our platform more accessible for everyone.
Additionally, we are actively developing the feature to allow dns to be not. tracked and various no-code plugins for WordPress, Webflow, and other no-code platforms. It will take some time, but we will get there.

Completely enjoy using it. I only wish the pages in the project could be subgrouped more (like subfolders in the projects). But it's working and it is very easy to implement and as it's not interfering with the GDPR: I reccomend it!
