We’re a beauty business with multiple staff members offering various services, and we’re currently using Bookedin. Before switching, we wanted to know if your system can support the following features we rely on: • Multiple staff calendars and availability • Online booking page for each staff or service • Custom booking forms/questions • Add-on services during booking (e.g. lash tint, brow upgrade) • Team management features (hierarchy, permissions) • Automated email/text reminders • Charging via PayPal with zero commission • Ability to add media like videos, testimonials, images to booking page • Option to remove your branding • Automated follow-up workflows for cancellations, no-shows, completions
We’d love to know if your platform handles all of these as smoothly as Bookedin does. Thank you!
Q: Can we set calendars to check on a per booking basis?
Hi Pranshu, I see there is unlimited calendars for adding to any tier.
1. Can we set which calendars to check for availability on a per booking basis? So for personal appts it checks my personal calendars but for work appts it checks my work calendars as one example? Or is it a global account setting?
2. Similar question. Can a booking per set to schedule the appointment in more than one calendar and this be customised per booking type?
A: Hey Andrew, 1) Yes it's possible. You can sync your personal calendar to personal event and work calendar to work event. An even more sophisticated way to do it is - while booking, conflicts should be checked on both calendars, but when an event is booked, it should publish on the relevant calendar. This is also possible 2) Sorry, I didnt get this question. We do allow creating multiple...
Thanks for your answer Pranshu. When it came to the second question I was asking if a booking/appointment can be saved to more than one calendar. So in one example a successful booking would be added to my personal calendar and also added to my 'group' calendar that a bunch of colleagues use for a podcasting schedule. (Just an example)
Q: Why isn't Tier 1 true to the features of the Standard plan on your website?
Tier 1 ≠ Standard Plan
I'm not sure if you are aware, but Sumolings expect specific plans to come with all the features listed on a company's site.
Widgets and social links are part of the Standard plan on your website, not exclusive to Teams.
After reviewing several question responses that have been given to Sumolings I am wondering why you have held back features from your Standard plan to Tier 1 Appsumo customers.🙁
It seems like LunaCal purposely removed widgets and social links from Tier 1 which goes against what AppSumo says are the terms of this deal.
A: Hey, thanks for asking. Nope, not an oversight.
AppSumo’s Tier 1 is actually more generous than our standard website plan: 1) You get 2 users (equivalent to buying 2 licenses on the website). 2) You can create team pages - something not allowed in the standard website plan. As for widgets, Tier 1 supports almost all widgets: video, text, event-specific widgets, gallery, testimonials,...
A: Hey, Currently, complete white-labeling is not in the roadmap. These are the features we're prioritizing right now: https://lunacal.featurebase.app/roadmap

Will you correct this?
