Q: Here's what I'd like vocal to do: Record the audio and transcribe it to text in the same email.
So when someone receives the email on their desktop, they read it, but if they're out and about can just listen to the same message on their phone.
Is that already how it works? Or on the roadmap?
Also do you have any screenshots of what the email looks like that the other party receives?

May 14, 2024A: Thanks for the feature request! We actually haven't planned to build transcription in the app for a few reasons:
- we don't really want to process your voice data (we want to be privacy-focused by design)
- it's very hard to do right and even if only 0.1% of the transcribed words are wrong, it suddenly adds a review/editing burden on the sender.
- working with a third party transcription service would increase our ongoing costs by a lot - which we will avoid at all costs (pun intended ;)) as we are a bootstrapped company.
